Media Excellence Inc. is a company focused on breaking into the online delivery of news articles for various organizations. The CEO approached FutureNetFX for the development of a custom-built front and backend content management solution. Media Excellence Inc. wanted the entire solution built with ColdFusion MX on a Windows 2000 web hosting platform..

This site features dynamic content delivery, allowing visitors to view articles by news organization, type of article, or newly added articles. An extensive backend was also developed, allowing registered users to login to the secure backend, contribute articles, upload relevant images or select from images uploaded by other users to accompany their articles, add or update their user profile, and send messages to other users. Administrators from each organization have the ability to customize the look and feel of their organization's news site, add, edit, and delete news type categories, set news type categories as active or inactive, have the ability to review, modify, and approve or deny contributed articles, images and user profiles prior to publication.
